3 Son's Studio is a company I formed back in April
of 2000, back then it was called Studio Metamit and
was in the Montgomery area of Alabama. When I started
the company I was just a freelancer working from home
doing graphic design and web design on sites such as
Elance.com, Guru.com and other freelance sites.
In 2001 I found my way to eBay which opened a whole
new opportunity for me. Not only could I buy and sell
on eBay, I started to work my way into designing for
auctions, then stores when stores were opened.
In 2002 I opened my first brick & mortar studio
for Studio Metamit in Prattville, Alabama. After a year
I returned to design from home so that I could be with
my children.
In 2004 I made a major move from Alabama to Wisconsin,
and decided to change the name from Studio Metamit to
3 Son's Studio. I also stopped offering graphic design
services so that I could concentrate solely on web development
and eBay design.
Over the last 3 years my client list and portfolio
have grown to include over 120 clients, websites and
eBay stores combined. I also work with my partner company,
Tower
Online Solutions providing Prostores solutions.
2007 was a big year for my company. I opened an additional
eBay store for my coffee business, JavaVaVoom
which was nominated for the 2007
eBay Best In Stores Contest - Best Looking Store
(we didn't win, but hey - the experience was awesom).
I was a selected designer for eBay's "Extreme
Store Makeover".
I am now proud to be an eBay Stores Certified Designer.
In the almost 8years I've been in business and the 7
years I've been on eBay, I can't say enough how much
fun it's been. My reputation as a designer and my client
care is always important to me. Clients are not just
clients at 3 Son's, they are my friends.
